Last year’s event brought together over 40 police motorcycle officers from throughout the Western United States and Canada.  This type of competition is held several times a year at other venues and draws dozens of competitors and hundreds of spectators. The competition is focused upon a series of challenging riding courses and proves to be a very family-friendly and exciting spectator event.  Members of the public are invited to view the competition without charge.  This year, the funds raised by the LPMC will go to benefit the non-profit organization Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help fight Cancer.  Cancer is a disease that affects over 14.1 million new cases and 8.2 million cancer-related deaths worldwide every year and has personally affected the Lafayette Traffic Safety Unit.

The LPMC is currently seeking sponsors for this event, which consists of the competition (awards), daily lunches for the competitors and a t-shirt to memorialize their participation at the event.  Sponsors will be recognized during the event for their support. We are seeking assistance in drink/snack sponsorships, vendor booths, raffle prizes, goodies for the competitor goodie bags or we can customize a package specific to your business.  Below are the details concerning this year’s sponsorship levels;
